Welcome to The Scouting Technology Collective

This site is a work in progress and being used by Scouting volunteers to gather, collate, organize and collect information useful to our efforts to support Scouting America organizations and advance the Scouting Movement.

If you're here and interested - we'd like your help.

Please feel free to call and ask about the "TSTC" or some other referential language. (please first identify what you're doing with Scouting today and preferably how we know one another already) Nine One Four area code, followed by 6 and a Two and a Three. Finally, we have 8 'for' 33. This previous sentence is a very "human only readable" way to share my personal cell phone number. Read it carefully if you are a real human, and feel free to call me for support or help or questions. It is the same number as my email signature, so if we know one another it should be familiar.

Current efforts include but are not limited to:

  • Collecting FAQ from Council "Scouting Technology Advocates & Resources" (STARs) which are people that help support the uses of technology for a given council or territory. (link to inquiry form) Use the site menus and links to check out more ways we're helping one another.
  • Assembling List of useful Links from all areas of Scouting with an initial focus on Commissioner Technology. (link to suggestion form) Use the menu above to check it out.
  • Migrating the Authoritative List of Scouting America Councils, Scouting America Lodges, Scouting America Camps from shared documents into a collaborative tool for sharing and updates ... connecting the Scouting America community.

Thank you for visiting, and please let us know if you have any suggestions.
